German Schmear

I tried something new yesterday and it was a blast! See the timelapse below for a quick glimpse of the mortar treatment to our exposed brick chimney. You can apply the schmear as heavily or lightly as you wish. At the Oakland St. reno, we applied it pretty lightly - just enough to brighten the brick, fill in the holes, and create a more subtle set of colors to match our white and grey theme in the house.
